RAMC LETTER TO DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION EXPRESSES CONCERN ABOUT NEGOTIATED RULEMAKING PROPOSAL TO ELIMINATE BUNDLING OF BOOKS WITH TUITION
In a recent letter to the Department of Education (ED), Dr. Monty Sullivan, President of Rebuilding America’s Middle Class (RAMC), a coalition of community colleges, and president of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, expressed RAMC’s concern about ED’s negotiated rulemaking proposal to eliminate most ways in which institutions of higher education help students save
money by bundling the cost of books and supplies with tuition and fees.
