CONGRESS
U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced Sen. Laphonza Butler’s (D-CA) Senate committee assignments and announced that Sen. Krysten Sinema (I-AZ) will be seated on the Senate Appropriations Committee.
Chairwoman of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce Virginia Foxx (R-NC) sent a letter to Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su requesting that the U.S. Department of Labor extend the deadline for public comment on its proposed overtime rule.
