On March 27, 2015, RAMC wrote to all Senators and Representatives in support of both President Obama’s America’s College Promise, a proposal to make two years of community college free for qualified students, and the restoration of year-round or summer Pell, allowing students to receive Pell Grants during summer semesters. RAMC strongly believes enacting the community college proposal and summer Pell Grants could be transformational in improving college completion and increasing college affordability.
